, Inc. offers tubing for carrying fluids at high pressures
in a variety of materials and sizes. Superpressure tubing is seamless, cold-drawn material, held to close tolerances both as to composition and size. Newport Scientific, Inc. tests the equipment carefully under strict control for maximum serviceability.
All standard equipment is made for 1/4, 3/8, or 9/16 inch outside diameter tubing. An outside diameter of 1/4 inch is approximately the minimum diameter tubing that can be threaded and still maintain the required strength.
The tubing is furnished in random lengths of 5 to 16 feet unless otherwise specified. Newport Scientific, Inc. reserves the right to ship the tubing in lengths of + 1 foot of the ordered length, and to invoice accordingly.
When ordering tubing, specify if the ends are to be prepared for our standard fittings. A small charge is made for this operation as well as for cutting, bending, or coiling the tubing to customer specifications.
